- If you're looking at mounting options for this target may I suggest the gong hanger kit (listed in the product options) as that will allow the target to ring in all its glory! The mobile base legs are certainly more portable but will kill the ring of the target.
I designed this target with the help of my friend Ken Nordstrom. Ken hunts coyotes both for fun and for competition and he wanted a target that would 100% mimic a real-life coyote so he could stay sharp without ever leaving his yard. Using measurements he's taken from skun coyotes over the years he figured out the golden # of 18" (watch the video if you'd like more detail). Practice on this target will get you ready for the real deal without compromise.

I received my third Atlas recently. The target I wanted was not listed but Brad went above and beyond to make one for me, it’s the front half of a life size coyote. I already had the front facing life size coyote and this new one gives me another option for practicing longer shots.
You can’t go wrong with Atlas Targets!

Bought this target to practice for day and night coyote hunting, great target for quick range finding with mil dot scopes due to the size being of average coyote. taking a lot of punishment from AR-15 5.56 and a 22 Creedmoor. I highly recommend this target for serious coyote hunters.

By far one of the best full size targets on the market perfect for that night you are getting ready to go out and shoot some coyotes and you want to check your rifle paint it black doesn't matter thermal or night vision definitely will be purchasing more targets
